Performed By: Patruni Sastry
What if we measured a nation’s progress not by profit or productivity—but by freedom, fluidity, and visibility?
GDP – Gender. Drag. Persona. reclaims the language of economics to imagine a queer counter-economy, one where transformation is currency, and (un)becoming is the measure of worth.
Through three acts;
– G for Gender: the unmaking of binaries.
– D for Drag: remembering indigenous histories of performance and play.
– P for Persona: worldmaking through collaboration and aesthetic refusal; Patruni Sastry’s performance becomes a living archive of dissent, joy, and survival.
In an age of pinkwashing and rainbow capitalism, GDP refuses inclusion on borrowed terms. It dreams instead of a new table, a new economy, and new ways of being seen.
